Import transactions to automate bookkeeping?

Hi all,
I was told that Square would link to banks and credit cards to import your transactions, making bookkeeping so much easier.

I can't for the life of me find that feature, just linking your bank account for client payments you accept. Done.

I know that Wave imports everything, but $20/mo is not suitable for a retired old bat with only occasional invoicing. I used to love Mint, now gone, too.

Please clue me in if you have a moment.
Thanks loads!

Hi @Wordsnob , thanks for posting on the Square Community 👋.

While you can download transaction reports from your Dashboard, Square doesn't have a bookkeeping/accounting feature that would link directly with your bank accounts - except linking your account to receive funds, as you mentioned.

We do however integrate directly with a number of accounting platforms. You can find the list on our App Marketplace. Most of them require a paid subscription, but I found a couple that offer a free plan:

These APIs are managed entirely by our partners, so if you have any questions feel free to contact them directly!

Hope you find a suitable app for your business 🙂.

Hi Lou8,

I had written my thank you on the phone, but I don't see the reply here. So again, thank you so much for your kind response and helpful suggestions for free plans, as my level of (in)activity just doesn't warrant a paid plan.

With appreciation,

The Olde Wordsnob
