Friends! Happy Labor Day!
You are the HEARTBEAT of the economy- whether if you're in the USA or NOT- Small Businesses don't get the attention they deserve.
Today is about the workers who keep our communities strong.. that means y'all- the small business owners, teams, and dreamers who are the true lifeblood of our towns and neighborhoods. From the cafés and shops on Main Street to the family-run businesses that span generations, it's hard to imagine a World without your businesses in them.
I know the current environment is so so hard- for me too- but take a minute to BREATHE and REFLECT- we're still here!
Now have a great day (I'll be at work behind the Square Register today)!
@DinaLRosenberg I can't like this enough!! Small businesses make the world go 'round. Let's keep it that way!
Agreed!!! In the last few years, I have really come to appreciate the Shop Local mentality! It means so much! I used to have a friend who would often order off of Amazon instead of getting her item from a local seller and she would say "I don't have to pay shipping or leave the house and I can get it cheaper". While that may be true - look what she's harming. The local economy. The ability for that family to pay their bills and put Johnny in little league. Or the owner who may go out of business because people use Amazon too much. I try not to default to Amazon unless I'm buying from a big box store. They can afford to suffer the loss more often. I also try to buy local, even at the box stores, when it means I can get it today. I think about my purchases and don't just default to buying online.
