4th of July Trends
Curious about what your business sees for 4th of July trends.
I own tanning salons in California and it is super busy with services leading up to the big day, then we take the weekend off since there is limited demand for services (and staff can enjoy themselves).
We do our weekly totals in the 4 days prior to the event.
What do you guys see? Is this a busy weekend for you as well?

This is super interesting! I imagine the days before the 4th being busy and hectic.
@VanKalkerFarms, @Lovewell, @sugarlab do y'all see something similar?

@maxpete We see some increases in our early morning sales for sure. Because it's so hot this year where we are, people were out early trying to get their day started because you want to be getting things done before it gets too hot. So like we had a lot of people coming in and getting food for the family and then packing up to go camping or going to the beach or the pool.

at out bakeries we usually see a good sized bump in sales, though it is extra complicated with a holiday that falls on random weekdays as to when the parties will be.
At our garden center the treed is the same every year as it is our first day of being closed for the season. we are only a spring retail business.

We're usually closed on the 4th. Being on a military in Alaska we take advantage of the good weather holidays when we can.
