Remove delivery estimate in cart

Remove delivery estimate in cart

We offer local delivery in a 3 hour window at my shop. When a customer is adding the item to their cart, it will automatically say "Delivery - Today at X:XX" which is confusing because the customer hasn't selected their delivery time yet. I'm having customers calling because they are worried that we assume they want their order delivered at this random time. 

 

How can I remove this assumed delivery time in the cart? I have included text all over my website for customers to continue to the last page of checkout to select their delivery time, but we're still having confused customers.

I don't think there's a way to remove that from the cart at the moment, @popsicleshop. I can see why someone might be confused if the cart is telling them a delivery time when they haven't decided if they even want it delivered that day or time. Hopefully we can add some options to control where it's shown, or update the language to make it clearer that it's defaulting to that time but can be changed (beyond the change link, of course).

 

I'm going to move your post to the feature request board for other sellers to comment on with additional feedback.
