PTO and sick leave approved via Square Teams app

I think there are so many automated features that you could implement through square teams that could easily be tracked through the app so we do not have to manually track it. PTO for example- the employee submits and we approve then it pulls through to that pay period. 

 

As of now - they can request time off and write what it is for (PTO, sick leave, etc.) but they can't actually designate it so it doesn't pull through to payroll. I have to have separate excel tracking sheets for all my staff whenever they take PTO and then I have to check their spreadsheets every time I run payroll to manually enter their PTO hours. Mileage and expense reimbursement should be another one!

Looking for a solution on this. Seems like there was an update to add features of requested specific # of PTO hours. One of my employees was able to submit PTO with # of hours requested. Waiting for payroll this week to end to see if it auto calcs. But my other employee has an iphone and says the option is not there to add # of hours requested. Is this working as intended or has apple not gotten the update yet?

Hi there @bwhealton - we do support partial day time off but this information does not yet flow through to Payroll.  We are aware of this gap and are taking a look at how we can bring this to you in the future.  

 

Can you provide more details on what your team member is seeing?  When requesting time off, there should be a toggle to deactivate the "All day" option.
