At my shop, we have an Employee Handbook that needs to be distributed to all new employees, preferably in electronic form. Also, we have two documents that require signature (e-signatures are acceptable) and filing with other employee records. While we do this manually, currently, it would be great to have the available for new employees to review and sign, as well as download and/or access at any time.
So, my request is this. Could you give us the ability to upload required documents and then attach them to each employee’s new-hire steps? In the cases of documents/forms that require signatures, the ability for the employee to e-sign these would of course be necessary.
Understand that I am not suggesting this be a free part of standard Payroll, but rather that a new tier (Payroll Plus, or a new HR section or something similar) be added to the Payroll side of Square. It would, of course, be necessary for Square to caution folks about the fact that the legality and/or advisability of any documents/forms uploaded rests entirely on our shoulders, and that Block, Inc, absolves itself of all responsibility as a cloud-storage provider only.
Thanks for considering this. I’d love to get rid of some manual work that I do at the beginning of each ice cream season!
