NFC Membership card

I don't know if this is the correct location but NFC chips are cheap. Would be amazing if we could use the card readers for membership sign-ins. Like you would for badge access to a building. But you could assign this NFC chips special permissions or discounts, etc and use the card readers as the interface.

We run an airsoft/paintball field and it would be nice if they could come in, swipe the card, it logs it, could maybe even charge them for entry with their online web account info, let us know if their membership is still active, etc. Many options and benefits could be had from this.

Cool, I think this is kind of what we were looking for. Not exactly, but, why is this iOS only?? Why restrict it's use?
