Inventory Value Analysis Report

I desperately need a report that will give the valuation of my inventory by location. The current inventory reports for Square for Retail are all based in sales, which is not helpful for knowing what I have on the floor and in the stock room currently. 

My old POS ran the valuation automatically at the start of the new monthly and I'm hoping we could have something similar to that. My auditor requires us to have this info, please help!

I would like to be able to run an inventory report for certain days, especially at the end of year for my accountant. I do not want what I sold but rather what I have in stock at a certain date.

YES! I need this report as well for our auditor. I submitted a request like this last week as well and we desperately need a report to show the valuation of our inventory, by location, on any given day.

I went ahead and merged your requests together since they were for the same feature request. Thank you both for taking the time to drop these here. 

It is still considered a Feature Request, but I completely understand the business need each of you discussed in your posts. 

If anything should change, we will come back to update the status on this post.

I also need an inventory valuation report. I understand that I can export our library and then manually add everything up, but we have thousands of skus and this is very time consuming. We need to be able to run an inventory valuation report, before and after we do our yearly inventory counts, as we need this for our auditor. We are a non-profit and shop inventory is part of our big annual audit
