We carry a lot of products in our store which have very long titles, often with the words at the end being the part that tells us which product it is. A few examples:
- Books which come in either hardcover or paperback printings have the same title, but with only HC or TP at the very end of the title to determine which it is.
- Collectable and roleplaying games where you have multiple parts of the product title: the name of the game, the name of the set, the name of the product type, and then the name of that specific product within those.
This makes finding items on the POS extremely difficult. The images show how these products look when using the Items tab, or in the actual checkout screen.
As you can imagine, then finding which line is which on a transaction (or in the item tab) can be a real nightmare, especially if they happen to be buying multiple items from the same range (this happens a lot with collectable card games). It's impossible to work out which line is the one they want to remove, so we end up clearing the whole transaction and starting again.
Please, please can we have word wrapping added to titles in POS, and the ability to change the size of the text in the checkout window?
