Bundle items as a single item, pull from inventory individually - combo/combination

Please create a way to group bundle item and have a special price .

That feature has been ask since 2016 I have read more than hundred of post on your forum asking the exact same things.

We also are desperate for this feature and considering looking at another POS system as a significant portion of our business is gift boxes composed of a group of items. We really need to be able to at least have a saved cart or someway to easily sell these in store and online and have inventory be pulled for the individual items... This is a MAJOR concern (WE need to accurately track inventory) When we bundle multiple items all tracked in inventory into a gift basket, square doesn't have the capability to take the individual items that were bundled out of inventory. It is causes major tax issues and manually work. Need a solution!

Just chiming in again (a full year after this request was made) to reiterate the absolutely necessity of this super basic feature! I sell yarn/knitting supplies and regularly make kits/bundles when new patterns are released. This is how people (especially beginners) expect to be able to buy yarn for projects and it seriously impacts our sales when we don't have them available.

Currently, whenever someone buys a kit I have to manually go in and adjust the inventory counts. This is tedious and time consuming at best, and leaves many openings for errors (and unsatisfied customers) at worst, especially outside of normal business hours. For example, last week we had 5 balls of a specific color in stock. At some point during the night someone ordered a kit that comes with 3 balls of that yarn. I didn't see the order until the next morning, and in that time someone else ordered all 5 balls since they were still showing up as available on our website when really there were only 2 remaining.

Kits are absolutely our biggest sellers online so it's worth the extra work while we're still operating on a small scale, but as we grow I can already feel it becoming unsustainable. There are many things I dislike about Square, but this missing feature is the one that will eventually force us to leave and choose another option.

Square......please listen to your customers?!?!? I need to be able to make combos of items and add them to my ticket as one price. I am a food truck and seriously considering using Easy Eats instead of Square, but I already purchased your equipment. But may give up on you and jump ship soon.

This may also be able to be accomplished if modifiers we inventoried, a feature that has also been requested in the past.

Ditto. I need this, too. I subscribed to the restaurant version expecting it to absolutely be there. A standard sandwich consists of bread and meat. Some customers may want lettuce, pickle, onion, tomato, etc... but the bread and the meat are separate inventory items. Most food items are not one inventory item and must be bundle to keep an accurate inventory. This is a necessity. Period.

Hi everyone, two quick updates from our experience. Firstly we received the new bundled item functionality about a month or so ago. Not sure if it’s because we are flagged as Square for Retail beta pilot account or general release but we have it. Secondly it works fine for what we need, retail gift baskets, as you can assemble various items we sell regularly and then give them a unique SKU and price for that bundle. For example it shows the amount of all the items selected and we then set a price for the item that is higher to account for other gift packaging materials and labor to put it together and a convenience charge. They customer only sees the one overall price of the gift basket when they purchase it. In the background it relieves inventory when sold. It would be nicer if the inventory management lists and reports clearly separated what was individual stock vs. included in bundles, but this was a good start. Hopefully Square continues to flesh out the functionality.

For us this is working, but I’m not sure if this available for Square for Restaurants or would work for the example given by the @SandwicheShack unless they have perfectly weighed standard components (e.g. 3oz of Turkey, 2oz of American cheese, etc.). We have a cheese counter which does mostly custom cuts by weight (like a deli) and cannot include any of those by items with variable weight.

The new bundle feature is a step in the right direction. BUT it won't allow for the selection of items by the customer. So if I put up a gift basket online with their choice of an item, that is not an option. It only works for very very static baskets/bundles that never change. So it doesn't really work for us.
