WAIVPAY gift cards

One of our stores is located in a shopping centre that offers WAIVPAY gift cards for use in all retailers in the centre. These cards are not accepted by our Square Terminal or Stand. Are there any other retailers who have found the same problem? It makes for an uncomfortable customer interaction when we have to tell them we can't accept payment. The centre is using these cards as a major advertising campaign and we are the only retailer amongst 50 shops that can't use WAIVPAY.

Sorry to hear about this, it sounds like a frustrating experience.

At the moment Square only supports its own gift card system - I'm not sure if we have any plans for other gift cards such as Wavipay, however I'll forward your feedback to our product team.
