Email Notification from Square on Payments Received

Hello

I spoke to a Square consultant that i am not happy with this.

As we have a number of customers paying different amounts and different payment types (books, fees, concert attendance, exams) it does not give me the breakdown of these individual customers nor payment amounts.  It just presents a total and even when you click transfer details it does not give enough information on name of customer.  I was informed i have to either go to balance to export an excel to review this.  All i like is to look at the email and if it gives me a total it is fine but if i could also have a quick click that will give me names of customer, amounts and payments description.

  

Not sure if anyone finds this annoying but i have asked the consultant if a new feature can be added.

Hi @michellespianos 

If you need an email for each transaction you can switch this on by clicking

Dashboard > Settings > Account and Settings > Business Information > Email Notifications 

Scroll to the bottom and you can click the check box -> Per payment

 

This will send you a email for every transaction processed.

The information our team has provided is accurate - the end of day email, or transfer summary will give you an overview, and you'll need to download a .csv file for a detailed breakdown. We'll continue to share this feedback with our product team.

Thanks Arie for responding.  If you or your team can help to have a feature to pick up the info quickly rather than having a csv file to download and then to match for reconciliation will save a lot of time.
