One of the most overlooked advantages of hemp-based skin products is their potential as beauty creams and serums.
Have you considered a hemp-based product? It has been marketed to certain niches like "pain" and "anxiety" to the point where we don't know its full potential beyond that.
I can personally say using the hemp soap I carry, I don't think I could ever go back to a regular bar of soap, the hydration is just amazing. (I can really tell when I'm at the hotel without it)
So there it is, have you considered hemp and thought it wasn't for you, or you just don't need it? It may be worth a shot for something you didn't even think of, surprises are always fun!
I can tell you from an Herbalist perspective that it shines as an anti-inflammatory. I was using it when there were only 3 or 4 companies around making anything hemp based. Now you mentioned hemp based but not necessarily CBD or a full spectrum extract. I find the seed oil works really well for skin and still has a good anti-inflammatory effect. If using for more troublesome skin issues, I'd experiment with high CBD concentrations. I think dosage is much too low, don't be afraid to play around with amounts especially if making a medicinal soap. I'd love to see if that would be effective for things like psoriasis and dermatitis.
Interesting question, @connecttheheals! I've never used hemp-based soap, but I'm very curious what experiences others have had. I can tell you that I know what you mean about hotel soap, though! 😝
It’s awesome! I always use liquid soap way too fast so a bar usually lasts longer. I live in a really dry area and let’s just say I haven’t bought any other soap in two years lol.
I am seeing hemp skin care products are full of so many other ingredients that are beneficial for the skin that I can't tell whether the hemp has anything to do with it or not
I know from research that topical CBD applied actually activates the same pain receptors responsible for dealing with the pain from spicy food.
the TRV-1 through TRV-4.
Though the TRV-1 is the most responsible for pain, the 2, 3 & 4 all have cool responsibilities.
I know for me that even using 100MG CBD soap has improved scarring, dryness, I love it.
We can’t say for sure CBD does anything now that FDC is cracking down again so all I can say is people that have been treated with radiation do buy high MG CBD skin care products and love them.

Oh the effects get really cool, we carry a product that’s 2400MG CBD at 4oz and it has some insane photo results. I’m trying to get my hands on them for some mailers actually, the difference is crazy.
I’ve heard it helps even at 100-200MG but the 2400MG Body Lotion is on another level compared. The higher the dosage the more fronts it’s doing something on. The side by side photos of this test were so impressive I wonder if I can score a link to that picture
@connecttheheals I have used a few hemp lotions and have seen pretty good moisture-retention results (especially on my hands).
I feel like I should know this because I'm in the beauty industry (hair), but really, what is the difference between hemp and CBD? They both don't have THC right, so technically aren't they the same? I know there are substantial benefits for adding CBD to hair products, but I can't think of any successful hemp hair products. What are the benefits?
Spell it out for me 😄
CBD is a term patented by the US Govt. (https://uspatent6630507.com/ ) It stands for cannabidiol a chemical active in cannabis (PubChem Cannabidiol) CBD & THC have the same chemical makeup but different arrangements which give some different effects . CBD & THC are in hemp and marijuana because they are the same species.
CBD does carry a Hydroxyl Group rather than a Cyclic Ring.
It’s main difference is the fact that THC bonds into the CB1 Receptors causing a high where as CBD doesn’t fully bond. It gets stuck and makes your body produce more natural endo-cannabinoids simultaneously making your body use existing ones longer.
Well hemp based products is a filter I’m using since CBD rocks the boat.
That’s the really big difference is anything from Amazon to EBay isn’t really CBD.
Generally it’s hemp seed oil and this has good benefits but not as many as CBD. From what I can tell with CBD and skin is for me just a better overall feel and look, the right products actually sped up a skin injury from falling on rug.
I’ve also been informed by customers that CBD might inhibit hair growth. I can’t speak to this beyond me using a sample I got as an after shave to avoid razor burn. My hair has always grown fast so I can’t affirm the statement but I trust my customers. I’d say the biggest thing with the company I’d say doing it best in this department is also one of the most organic.
I’ll let you know on the feedback from the face scrub, face cream, and body lotion I sold recently.
I went with saying hemp because of square we only sell hemp based products under .03% THC
As far as it’s work with skin retention is crazy I have a good blog here if you’re interested it’s a lot to type out

Hemp, specifically CBD, is great for your skin....especially for those of us that struggle with acne, eczema, psoriasis...etc. It's anti-inflammatory properties just plain "calm everything down". It helps relieve the skin of irritation and inflammation, and allows the skin to heal naturally.
This is true, you should look into the new findings with topical CBD and the reaction to the TRV-1 through TRV-4 receptors. It’s some cool stuff!
I have used Hemp seed oil in organic home-made soaps and have received many positive comments from customers who are making the switch to natural alternatives. My research though did not provide clinical evidence of the benefits for hair. I will keep my eyes open for new research in this market and provide an update. Here’s a link to an interesting post. https://www.nutriciusclean.com/post/all-natural-skin-care-products-a-trending-market-for-health-cons...
I’ll check it out! Hemp seed oil is great for omega fats, even beating fish supplements in that department. I am actually referring to the not yet published but proven in other countries effect of CBD on the skin.
We use several hemp-based products in our body treatments and just added in a hemp facial. The feedback has been great from clients so far.
Same here, we are actually in line to grab a new beauty line of products that incorporate a mixture of CBD and CBG. Let me know if you want the name of the company. I’m sure they’re looking for places to get this shelved, it’s really awesome stuff
I'm happy with the brands we have now but if things change I will for sure reach out!
I might be interested. Do they sell white-label wholesale products?
