Why does it take so long for a mobile check deposit to clear into Square checking account?

Mobile checks can take 1-6 business days to deposit. Some checks might have a shorter deposit window, which should be confirmed with the issuer. The timeline is determined by the banking institution. Once a mobile check deposit is initiated, it cannot be canceled or reversed. If you are experiencing anything outside of that timeline, please let us know.
