I forgot to transfer funds into to my square checking account and my QuickBooks payroll direct deposits didn’t go through. Will they automatically try to go through again?

Just to make sure I'm following you correctly: QB tried to pull from your Sq Checking account? I'm not familiar with what QB's steps are in this case, but for the majority of the systems out there, it will try again within a day. If not, you'll get notifications about the problem and steps on how to resolve it. Usually you can just tell QB to try again.
The big thing to watch for is to make sure it doesn't affect your team's paycheck delivery day. If it does, I recommend being up front with the team: explain the error and assure them their pay will be on the way. Hopefully QB will give you updated timetables for delivery or give you the option to manually write the checks.

HI, you can review the Quickbooks support page, it states "For insufficient funds, we'll try to redebit the money 24 hours after the first attempt. Make sure to add funds to your account and wait for us to try again."
