Hi! I am currently @ 49% paid of my 8th loan with square. Typically offers have come in at around 50-60% since. I have seen a few people mentioning that they now do a soft credit pull and am wondering if this pertains to personal credit or business credit?

New offers are not automatically extended when a certain percentage of an existing loan is repaid, but your business may become eligible for a new offer when your existing plan is closer to being repaid. This timing helps to ensure a significant portion of a new loan can be used to reinvest in your business directly rather than repaying your existing loan balance.

Keep in mind that we can’t guarantee that another offer will be extended before or after the current plan is complete. Repaying your existing plan does not guarantee that your business will be eligible for another offer.

Hi! I haven't been on this forum for awhile, but I have been checking lately because my loan was almost all paid off. I got to 75% yesterday and I finally I got offered a loan today around 10:40pm. For reference I am a small business owner providing hair & makeup services for special events primarily weddings. This year all my numbers are up, and my volume and processing as well. 

I've never had any issues with payments or any chargebacks. The loan I just finished with was not my highest amount, but the new loan offered is a larger amount. 

Also I'm not sure if this truly helps, but I usually spam the thumbs up/thumbs down button that is available on both the loan page and the metrics page. When I get round 60-65% I spam those buttons everyday, several times a day. Again I do not know if it really works but I feel like it lets the "computer" know my interest and feedback. Since there is no actual human deciding these loan terms, my only way of "communicating" is those thumbs up/down buttons.

Congrats on your loan and your business growth! I am at 84% but it's only my 3rd loan and I have not ever received a loan offer prior to paying off my current loan.  It would be great but I am not expecting it.  I love seeing the success of everyones business though!!

I run a small day spa. I've done the same thing with the thumbs up and down once I get over 60ish% percent. Wasn't sure if it did anything but it made me feel like I was doing something. Lol

I received an offer late last night. I was a little over 72% paid, the offer was in the upper 80’s. I requested a lower amount but I’m not sure how quickly it will get reviewed since its the weekend.

Got an offer last time in the 70s, that was in April of this year. Sales are up, and we are approaching the 70s again. Summers are slower for us so payback is not as fast as loans prior. But we have been green and above our threshold from last year, so interested to see when the next offer drops.

Well update! My loan was paid off July 20th from sales, Today August 3rd received offer and accepted (3 times more than the first one) this is my second loan and now holding on the 1-3 day timeline. Definitely had given up hope. I can say that there seems to be no right or wrong way. Just waiting on the system.

Update! After the offer I waited two days and received a need more information email. I sent ID and SS Card so I guess I’m waiting 1-3 more business days. Sales and status are all still great and good to go. This is the highest loan I’ve ever received so perhaps extra precautions. I just hate the waiting ugh. To be continued….

I received a new offer on 77% 

it’s higher than the last one but it’s the 2nd day it’s still not approved. Which is very unusual 

usually after a day they already approved it. 
do anyone experience the same? 

my last loan was 86% paid off by the way before

Unfortunately they declined it, due to other location still have balance and we were shut down due to accident after further notice. 

did anyone experience getting declined and received another offer?

I’m not going to sugarcoat it, but first, try to take care of the other loan. Second, it will take some time. Once you’ve re-established a good relationship with Square (by paying off all the debt and not requesting any returns or refunds), the issue will be resolved, and offers will start appearing again. I’ve seen new offers pop up after 6 months to a year. How long have you been with Square? Your past history is a significant factor in loan approvals. Good luck, and hopefully, everything will go smoothly.

sort of trying to figure this out too. record sales for 3 months, second loan paid off early. They pretty much badgered me with offers back to back at first and now that it’s paid, silence. It’s very confusing. Feels like being ghosted.

I just received offer yesterday at 70% paid off on 10th loan, still owing 10,000 on current loan. I’ve received offers from 40% -82%, as soon as it hit 70% yesterday my offer appeared . Good luck everyone

I’m on around my 15th loan with Square. All previous offers have come in between 50-75% except my current offer was around 89%. It was also only 1/4 of my previous loan. I took it regardless. I’m now at 53% paid back in 3.5 months. Hoping although I’m only at 53% that the algorithm picks up on the fact that I deserved a higher offer.

And I was upset I’m at 54% in 4 months. 😮‍💨 mine updated later than usual the last few days but always does daily. Not sure about when it doesn’t.

Just cleared my 10k cash advance loan given to me July 20th after completing a 27k loan in 5 months. I have already made what I made all of last year. I am on track to 450k year.  I was absolutely shocked and disappointed they gave me a 10k cash advance. I cleared the loan on Monday and it still hasn’t updated. If they hit me with another 10k cash advance I’m going to switch to Shopify. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this?
