Well, square support has been 0 help at all for this issue that I am having, so here I am.
It has been a week or so now. I got an email saying
Thanks for your patience as we completed a review of your account. We periodically review unusual activity on Square Checking accounts in order to keep everyone on our platform safe. |
We’re happy to let you know that the review is complete. Your Square Checking and Debit Card are now ready to use. |
However, when I go to my square dashboard and go to balance, it shows that checking still isn’t enabled. When I go through the process of signing up for the debit card, I get an “oops try again later” error.
Last week, support said they would have it fixed by Monday. Yesterday, they said I would have an email sometime in the afternoon. None of those came true.
any ideas?
Hey @cosmic270, thanks for flagging this, I apologize our support team was not able to help. Are you still seeing Square checking isn't enabled? If so can you provide a screenshot of the error, I will go ahead and escalate it over to the team if needed. 👍
This issue has been escalated twice now. I hope it works this time.
this is the error I get after entering my address to ship the debit card. Even though the email said I was already approved for the checking account and debit card.

This is not the experience we want to provide. I've already reached out to our Account Services team regarding this issue. According to their advice, you should be able to use Square Checking now.
