I’m at a bit of a loss for what else I need to do to be offered a new Square Loan at this point. I’ve been with Square for over 10 years, had 7 loans now that I’ve have paid back early every single time. Metrics are all in green, record sales year. In 2023, record numbers across the board, no refunds, no complaints or issues of any kind in our entire history. Current loan is 80% paid off, but no new offer in site. This is the kind of stuff that causes businesses to find someone else to process through! Please help! I’m sure I’ll get the same old excuses that you guys send to everyone about looking at every aspect of the business. But there isn’t a single aspect that isn’t way up. I’m not sure if there is a new process they are using now, or if there is some kind of issue with my banking or something else I’m not thinking about or aware of. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, because I could really use some new capital to start the year off with and reinvest into my business!
We all do! All I can say is keep doing as best as you can to keep going! Growing is a great thing and I know not cheap! Try to process daily if you can and no disputes or returns if possible! Those 2 are big and you want to stay away from them. Good luck hopefully soon!
I’m happy to report I got an offer tonight. I have been paid off since Aug 16. Checking daily and finally I got an offer! I accepted, was approved!
Congrats!!
Yessss! Another paid-off for a bit! Congratulations 🎉 finally!!! It's nice to see these post!
We have been with square for many years and have had 16 loans with them. This issues the longest we had to wait we are at 81% paid off and owe less than 2700$ and nothing has shown up. We checked to see if our offers are usually on certain days and they have been any day of the week over the years. We have no clue what the metrics are anymore and are hoping to get something at some point. Congrats to all who have gotten an offer and keep your spirits up if you haven’t gotten one yet
Im in the same boat!!!! 85% paid bal 2600
Good luck! It's been bouncing lately from completely paid off to the high 70s. Its like wheel of fortune on where and who it lands on I swear! Thank you for the update! It does help others.
We just received an offer at 82% paid back. The offer was 3000 less than the previous loan and the repayment is lower now at 17.5 % versus 20%. We updated at 3:22pm and got the offer at 9pm. Good luck to all ! There is hope hang in there
Congratulations 🎊🎉
Congratulations! I'm sorry it's lower than the last one. Hopefully, it will help though! Thank you for the update!
When the acct updates daily, and it says *not eligible* has anyone ever got an offer hours later? Same day they say not eligible?
Most are hours later.
Every offer of mine usually comes around 7-10 pm. I update around 1-3 pm. I have not seen and offered an update yet. A few thought that but the offer was the night before and they just saw it when they checked their updated metrics
Im on 83% right now
On 87% and still no offer. Guessing I probably won't get one until the loan is paid off haha maybe around 90% if I'm lucky according to other people's experiences
Almost a year of upper 90s to pay off and now it's 2-3 people who pop in and post-70s and it throws everything off! Hopefully, the trend is getting better, and sooner offers for those who are waiting. Good luck!
Since signing up to Square just a little over 4 months ago, I've been checking my metrics daily as I kinda like to look at it 😀
Yesterday, they completely disappeared and now it just says not eligible. I'm guessing this is not normal?
Update.
Apparently, even though we take between 10-20k a month through Square we don't qualify for the minimum loan amount according to support.
My first loan was about 6-8th in I believe? It's been 12 years. It's not your volume, sales, etc, your kicking butt! You need to establish a relationship with Square and most importantly the algorithm has to establish a pattern or history of how you process is all. Nothing to do with you or anything like that is wrong. Do you swipe cards or online or invoices?
You will once you have established usually 6-8 mths some are closer to a year. It's not your volume it's breaking down how you process, daily or weekly, invoices vs swiping cards all-day every day. Are you staying with Square or have you jumped from POS to POS providers? All of this and so much more data goes into the system to provide you with the best loan offer. Obviously, with those numbers the traditional 1-3k loan would be silly. That's why they need a running calculation of how you process. The business 2 doors down it took them a year and 3 months with Clover for their first offer. Honestly, they haven't forgotten about you but that first loan isn't usually in a couple of months. It will come and most likely lower than you expected. That's fine accept it pay it off fast and they will keep rolling in. Good luck and keep up the kicking sales!
I have been following this community for a while. We have 95% paid off our current loan and got an offer today. We process about $1million a year, 360 days.
The offer they did is only 20% of the current loan. Does anyone did not accept the offer and got higher amount? If so how long it took to get a new offer? Thank you
May I ask what your current loan amount was?
