Hey there @Jso1961.. I'm paying off one at 75% now.  And I'm not expecting a new offer any time soon.  For at least the past two years, new offers have been coming much later than they used to.  These days, I'm hearing from LOTS of sellers here that a) offers aren't coming until the high 80% at the earliest, with many not receiving offers until the previous loan is completely paid off, and b) many are experiencing lower offers than they have received before.

Honestly, this doesn't surprise me too much given the absolute shambles of an economy we are experiencing, with no real reasons to expect that it will get better any time over the next few years.  The lending market doesn't react well to uncertainty like we are experiencing, and it is not just Square's loan arm that is being conservative and cautious.

Keep in mind that I'm NOT saying that you definitely won't get an offer soon.  I'm just saying that the overwhelming experiences I'm reading about here on a daily basis say that you should probably not have high expectations.  And you definitely shouldn't be anxious, unless your business depends on loans to survive, which is a different story.  Another offer will come if your card volume is growing and your other business milestones are where they should be.  But I believe (and many other sellers here believe) that the days of new offers at 60-70% are in our rearview mirror.

Hi @KEC413

Thanks for posting on the Square Community.

Loan eligibility and offers are based on a variety of factors including payment processing volume, account history, and payment frequency. We routinely review eligibility of our sellers for Square Loans.

If you don’t see an offer in your Square Dashboard and haven’t received an email noting you’re eligible, you are not eligible at this time. If your business becomes eligible at a later time, you will see loan offers in your Square Dashboard.

Please contact us directly, our Square Loans line is open between 8am-5pm PT Monday-Friday if you want to give us a call.

On the outside, I could see how it appears. Behind the scenes, the algorithm and team members are working on a system that fits everyone and their needs. I know even I'm scratching my head here. I am used to everyone else being 70-75% paid off and there's that offer. I look at other POS systems and their policies, and theyhave been doing microloans for some time now. Square has been rolling out different options, paybacks for a good year now. We as the customer don't have to accept say a 3k loan and 4-month payback offer (reference only) skip it and hopefully, the next offer is the larger offer. Hopefully, once everything is in order there will be a list of options 1. Quick and instant 3k loan, 2. Larger loans typically have a 2-4 processing time etc. This is only speculation, I like transparency, and my options right in front of me, and not guessing if or when. Hopefully, by watching the new loans roll out and receiving feedback it seems to be working that way. Good luck and hopefully you will receive one soon.

I am extremely sorry i was outstation and had less access to communication. On sunday they send me a offer for $7300. My last loan which i paid off was $23000+fees. It was $15700 decrese and loan offer came when i was 99% paid off. Litterally if i calculate 99.99%. I am genuinely dissapointed because my sales were not decreased... It was increased but $7300? Atleast $12k could have been understandable... 23k to 7.3k was unbelievably low... But i accepted it thinking its small loan and will be paid quickly we could get a better deal next time.. Fingers crossed...

I got my offer today at 65% paid off. It was a 6k increase from my last one. I took it of course. I took a little less than they offered me so that the percentage I pay back is the same as it was for the previous loan.

So it seems things are looking up, hopefully loans will come through for everyone else soon. The algorithm is odd, I'm not sure how they decide who gets what. But im thankful I got the offer when I did!

I just wanted to check if this is happening only to me or to everyone. With my new loan, I don’t see the eligibility criteria section with the green “Good” indicators. It’s not there at all. When you click on the Loans icon and go to the loan page, then press the current balance square, it takes you to the round percentage page. Normally, after that, you can click “More details” and see the eligibility details with the green “Good” and “Needs work” signs. However, there is no option to click “More details” anymore.

Is this the same for everyone?

How long has it been since your loan? I thought you were very recent? If so the long holiday weekend could have been why your screen hasn't been back. I have been there myself about 7-10 days after the loan acceptance it updated back for myself.

I got the loan on 02/08/2026. Its been 14 days and its still the same no data available. Also I have completed the payment until April 2026 already. Swiping pretty good. I think my account might have flagged as the person who asks most questions about eligibility and Now they might have decide not to show the statistics in my account at all.

Try following @Mpechlys's advice, and if that doesn't work or isn't the right solution, especially since your loan has been active since February 8th, it probably isn't an issue with the loan department but rather a tech support matter. I've noticed more people posting lately about different loan options than before. The last time I had a loan, I didn't see my metrics for nearly three weeks, and then suddenly, they appeared—crazy times! Like you, I check my account daily, comparing weeks and months, keeping an eye on my numbers and all the transactions. I tried clicking back a few times, which helped temporarily, but that stopped working. I thought you were less than a week into your loan. If you call back ask for tech support and if they ask just mention you lost your metrics and you use them daily. Good luck and please let me know.

Did you receive a loan offer ? If so what was your status? Ex: 99 percent paid larger offer etc. I'm currently sitting at 85% on a 50k loan my normal offers are around 50/70 percent.. Just curious on how it's going...

If I pay all of it out. Im going to kick back 20% percent for myself and not get a loan.

Is yours a set monthly payment vs daily percentage of sales? On my loan that’s a daily percentage, I see the eligibility criteria. On the loan that’s a set payment each month, I do not see the eligibility criteria.

Hello, thank you for the clarification on which loan you have. Each are different for daily sales vs monthly. I will tag a mod as they are different. I am going to tag a mod. I am guessing going by your timing of receiving your offer and then kicked in the long holiday weekend. Yours should pop back really soon.  I'll tag @abbeyc and maybe she can help you out.

Hi @CTC18 !

Great observation. I'd be happy to clarify.

Businesses with a monthly payment loan are not reviewed for additional loan eligibility until the current loan has been completed.

I hope this clears any confusion. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us directly!

@csmajesticinc1 Keep in mind, Our eligibility page is location specific and displays information related to the named location. If you have multiple locations on your Square account, you can switch locations to view the eligibility page by navigating to your Loans tab on your Dashboard.

To change locations, please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Loans section of the online Square Dashboard
  2. Select the location drop down in the top center of the page, and select a location
  3. Click ''your Next Loan''
