85% paid off all green and still no offer, does any know what's going on
Hi @Arminius !
Appreciate you taking the time to post.
New offers are not automatically extended when a certain percentage of an existing loan is repaid, but your business may become eligible for a new offer when your existing plan is closer to being repaid. We can’t guarantee a loan offer even if the key factors displayed on the eligibility page show all “Good.”
We will continue to review your account daily for loan eligibility. If you become eligible, you’ll be notified directly on your Square Dashboard and through email.
Hope that helps, please feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any other questions!
I believe they are revamping it. It might disappear and reappear a few times. I lost mine for a few days and then it was back. The metrics are a great tool for us to use to compare stats, sales, etc. It really wasn't intended to be used as a loan guide. Unfortunately, many thought all green 75% paid off, and nothing. I looked at my metrics just about every day. I hope they keep them. I am so sorry about the chargebacks. It's hard, and I feel at times some customers do this as a part-time job disputing charges or work that was done. It is a killer for small business owners.
Hi @Mpechlys

f you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us directly!
Are people seeing loans given out
I’m at 87% percent with no new loan. All my metrics are in green so I guess not
Hi @Jose22282
Thanks for posting on the Seller Community.
Currently, offer eligibility is based on payment processing data, which means eligibility can change as frequently as your business does. Loan processing data includes your processing volume and your processing history, such as failed debits, chargeback history, and changes to your processing behavior, among other factors.
We can’t guarantee a loan offer even if the key factors displayed on the eligibility page show all “Good.”
Don’t hesitate to contact us directly if you have further questions or concerns.
It's been pretty quiet honestly, but yes, here and there someone will chime in. It's also summertime and honestly not as many people get on here to post “I just got an offer” Everyone seems to be busy and just don't post either.
Yes I noticed the same thing it’s been very quiet lately. Hopefully the loans start picking up. Maybe all the people that were waiting on loans have finally got theirs
I see a lot of them have gone now since they received one. A new bunch always comes through for the journey.
Are there certain days loans go out? Maybe it’s slow because it’s the last day of the month
Hun, honestly when I go back and look at my previous loans about 75% are Saturday night offers. Whether my busiest days are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and the increased sales trigger it? All the years here probably Sunday is a big flop as far as people posting. If I knew how that algorithm worked, I would be like Oprah up in here “with you get a loan, and you get a loan” Unfortunately, I don't.
Yes! They are going out still. Summertime is not always the best time to gauge it by activity. People post looking for a percentage, and get their offer, and go. Whether it's nice outside, busy season all of the above for me, not like the winter where they stick around for a month if needed.
I got a loan offer on Saturday. I accepted it Sunday and got the money Tuesday.
I was at 100% paid and the offer came 7 days later! It was for much, much, much less than my last four loans ($18,500 was this offer. Last four offers were $51,000 $25,000, $23,000, and $42,000). I am not sure why the offer was much much lower as my sales are actually on par with where they should be ... But this has happened before where I get a little offer and then the next offer is bigger .. so not sweating it at all!
Same my offer was lower but I waited a few days and the next amount jumped up drastically, I’m almost paid up til one customer decided to dispute, idk if that’ll push me back or not but my whole metrics are now gone.
They take into account other things as well. I'm not saying all but some people love to complain to get out of paying for what they owe. It's like 2nd nature to them. They don't care how it affects the small business owners.
Congratulations! You have been waiting that's for sure. I stopped trying to guess or predict what my offer might be because I bounce around and sales are up 3x higher than the last 2 previous years 🤷♀️ if I need it or think it might be a rougher winter I accept it or pass. Guessing an algorithm, the economy, and everything else is beyond me. I am glad to see you finally get yours though.
I received a new offer on Monday @55% paid back and much higher than previous offer. 🙌👏🏻
Congrats!!! Nice to see you on here again!
I have been with Square for well over a decade now and have received and paid off over 12 loans. I received a new loan offer at 61% last Friday, which I accepted. This is the very first time it wasn’t immediately approved and deposited into my Square Checking. Here it is Tuesday mid-day now, and it is still pending. What in the world is going on??? I’ve messaged Square and called the loan phone number only to get the same generic answers as always, 1-3 business days. But in over 15 years, this has NEVER happened, not 1 time. Did Square change something, am I being denied? Has anyone else experienced this and finally got approved and money deposited after a long wait? Looking for a little reassurance or should I begin considering moving to a different processing company? Thanks! 😊
I have now called 3 times and continue to be told the same 1-3 business days line even though it’s been 5 days total and 3 business days. I have been told that no issues are showing and it should be gotten to soon. This is a bit ridiculous that someone cannot simply review my loan offer and give an answer one way or another.
Any news yet?
Is any one getting loans? I really need one and i usually have one by now.
Nope at 90% paid back in 3 months. So frustrating.
