hide out of stock item

I can't believe square pos lacks this basic functionality.  You expect us to shuffle our product line instead of letting the computer work for us?  This request has been open for 2 years.  I am evaluating what to do with my new business and am wondering if I just use wiz or shopify when I add full ecommerce since your features come out so slow...

I have 2 locations with 2 different websites with their own subdomain. I disabled the Display out of stock items on the dashboard. Out of stock items still show up on both websites. I noticed that if item AA is in stock at location 1 and out of stock at location 2, both websites show item AA. Am I doing something wrong? Or is the Display out of stock toggle not working?
