change payment type

About 5 years ago the question was asked if we would be able to change the payment names. For example. Change the payment name from "Other Payment Types" to "Venmo". As an accountant, this would be very helpful in determining where specific funds are coming from. Please advise.

While there are no plans at this time to implement this feature, I can share a workaround that other sellers have implemented. Some Sellers have created a Category called Payment Types and created items with no price (Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, etc.). Once this is done, they add this category to their Favorites (for easy access) and add these items to the checkout to be able to track these transactions.
