At this time, EBT cards are not on our roadmap. However it's definitely an interesting topic, especially when it comes to grocery stores. 

I'll let our Product Team know about the request and if we make any changes we'll be sure to announce it.

EBT is not something you can accept wit square register directly currently.

What you can do is run the transaction thru square and use the Other payment in square register while accepting payment and then run the EBT card in a seperate EBT terminal

Our market uses an iPad app from Novo Dia Group, Mobile Market + the processor is World Pay. It accepts a Pin and we have a Bluetooth printer. We also enter the amount in Square Register (as cash) under an EBT category. Each vendor is an item. I run a report and know how much each vendor is owed. Would love to see Square accept EBT.

I am also looking to have this feature for a client that is opening a bakery and comparing POS options that work with QBO.  Food stamps and WIC acceptance would be ideal.
