Why don't I have Apple Pay or Google Pay toggle options in my Checkout settings?

Hi there! I'm trying to enable Apple Pay and Google Pay on my online store. However when I go to Online Store > Settings > Checkout, there are no toggle options for me to enable Apple or Google Pay that is otherwise shown on the tutorial help page here: https://squareup.com/help/au/en/article/7014-accept-payments. Help please!

Any news regarding the launch of Apple Pay in Australia for online transactions via Square? In 2021, it's a massive drawback not to have such a feature. Thanks for your feedback.

Hi Square team - I would like to add my vote to please get GooglePay and ApplePay features turned on in Australia! 

Quite shattering that these Square reader staples would be not be available in the Online product, and it's really frustrating that Australia always seems to get left out of things that are provided as commonplace to other countries.

Thanks for your feedback - I agree that it'd be great to see Google and Apple pay to come to Square Online in Australia, and understand the frustration of not having product parity between countries.

I understand that this is in the development pipeline, and while I don't have an ETA, I'll be sure to update this thread once it is available!

Hi to all on this thread, If every time Square sends you a survey say we need Apple/Google pay now. Or if every time you have a communication with Square say you need it now. Ask them to explain why we do not have this. I use their QR code table ordering system and my customers are so frustrated that they cannot use Apple pay. Let put the pressure on Square. Jon

Hi, is this still the case? The landing page for self server ordering states Google and apple pay are available. Is this correct because i do not get the apple pay dialog on ios safari for a test checkout https://squareup.com/au/en/online-store/restaurants/self-serve-ordering

Thanks for highlighting this feature request, and raising the inconsistency on our website. Apple Pay and Google Play are not yet available for Square Online in Australia yet- but we're working on it. We'll fix the error on our website, and will tag you here to notify you of any news!

Keen for this as well. My customers don't want to enter their card details on QR code ordering, they get frustrated and walk in

Could not agree more. I have an app on the front end of the QR code ordering and for this, they can use Apple pay they then go to pay for the food they want to order and have to start entering their credit card details, many do not understand why. Square the QR code is great but get apple pay!
