Test Partial Payments in the Invoices Request Deposit Beta

Hey everyone!

I’m excited to announce that we’ve rolled out a beta for accepting partial payments with Square Invoices!

This new feature will allow you to create a single invoice and track multiple payments on that invoice. This may also be useful for those of you who want to accept a deposit and collect the rest of the amount due later.

We know this is a feature many of you have been waiting for, so I hope you’ll help us test it out!

By using partial payments and providing us feedback, you will directly influence and improve the Square Invoices product. So please share your reactions and input.

Thank you for enabling this Howard. So far so great! Just processed by first deposit yesterday and it was perfect. I was able to configure the deposit exactly as needed and the client paid without an issue. I can clearly see in the invoice that the deposit was paid, when the remainder is due, and I can make adjustments to the invoice as well which affects the remaining balance. For us, this is exactly what we needed.  

I am very happy with this feature, thank you!

Hi Howard, I replied in this thread 4 days ago, but my reply is on the 50-somethingth page... sorta weird. Anyway, it looks like it went into the wrong place, along with some others who left comments that are not "liked."
