Test Partial Payments in the Invoices Request Deposit Beta

Hey everyone!

I’m excited to announce that we’ve rolled out a beta for accepting partial payments with Square Invoices!

This new feature will allow you to create a single invoice and track multiple payments on that invoice. This may also be useful for those of you who want to accept a deposit and collect the rest of the amount due later.

We know this is a feature many of you have been waiting for, so I hope you’ll help us test it out!

Wow 2018 second best update after installments. Already have 6 invoices out for deposit, super excited. Just needs an option to split in to more than just two payments and it's perfect.

This is so great - thank you for adding us to the Beta. We primarily send invoices to customers who call while we are at our Square Register, but it doesn't appear the Beta is set up to work at the Square Register yet? Or is there a way to activate that option on our register so we can test it out?

I would like to be set up to accept partial payments.

Love the parital payments feature but have been unable to figure out how to collect final payment at POS.

On either my iPad or iPhone (via either the regular app or the beta app) there doesn't seem to be a way to collect the balance owing on invoices. If anyone knows how to access this feature, it would be appreciated if you share here (or refer me to the proper thread to post this. On my desktop, I can record payment but there is no option to enter credit card info.

My workaround (because I had customers waiting) was to create a new invoice to take payment for the balance but now have to figure out how to effect a proper accounting outcome. Thanks!
