Test Partial Payments in the Invoices Request Deposit Beta

Hey everyone!

I’m excited to announce that we’ve rolled out a beta for accepting partial payments with Square Invoices!

This new feature will allow you to create a single invoice and track multiple payments on that invoice. This may also be useful for those of you who want to accept a deposit and collect the rest of the amount due later.

We know this is a feature many of you have been waiting for, so I hope you’ll help us test it out!

How do i get signed up for this beta. it is a huge issue not being able to take partial payments on warranty with deductibles.

Please add me to the Beta! Our bakery does offer a lot of wedding catering options, where it is standard for customers to pay a deposit (would like the option for a percentage of the total balance OR perhaps a lump sum of, say, $200) with the final payment due at a later date. Ideally I would be able to send an invoice with a due date for the deposit, and a due date for the final payment. Even nicer would be an option for Square to send a reminder for the final payment at a certain date in time (for us, I like it to be 2 weeks prior to the customers' event date).

Alot of clients have been asking about this in invoicing, as well as ACH Withdrawl. I need this!

I am VERY MUCH interesterd. I have a client where I sent the invoice however they were not able to make the required deposit, so I had to change the invoice amount to only reflect the deposit amount. That has been paid, however now I guess I have to send another invoice which is a bit of an inconvenience.
