Test Partial Payments in the Invoices Request Deposit Beta

Hey everyone!

I’m excited to announce that we’ve rolled out a beta for accepting partial payments with Square Invoices!

This new feature will allow you to create a single invoice and track multiple payments on that invoice. This may also be useful for those of you who want to accept a deposit and collect the rest of the amount due later.

We know this is a feature many of you have been waiting for, so I hope you’ll help us test it out!

By using partial payments and providing us feedback, you will directly influence and improve the Square Invoices product. So please share your reactions and input.

Does this beta system lock in the whole amount...and I can decide when the parts are paid off?

I tested in test flight and it has added the test invoice into my regular dashboard as a transaction.  This shouldn’t happen.  I used to be a programmer and your beta app at most should have copied my site but should never have created records in my live records.  I need to take partial payments not just deposits.  It would also be nice to make minor changes to an invoice update it but not send another email to the customer

This service is vital to my business as a bridal boutique. I've just downloaded the beta and it will work for now, but I need to be able to collect the deposit in person. Is this possible through the beta app yet?
