Sales reporting for SQ Restaurant

It would be great to have sales

show up live on the dashboard app. Currently the sales only show up once the end of day is run. This doesn’t do us much good to watch sales levels for staffing etc. (we close at 9:00pm and I can’t see what the sales were until 10 or 11pm from the app or dashboard. Only if your in house on the app)

also, it would be nice to have sales for items sold show up at the time of sale and not just after the check is closed. For the same reason.  For instance, most tables stick around for an hour or two. When those items are rung in and made, is when it’s busy. Not an hour later when the guests leave. When I look at hourly reports for labor scheduling, a bulk of sales are registered after we have closed for the night. 

it would be nice to have a toggle to have it either way in case some like it the way it is.

As of August 29, you can now access your live sales data in Square for Restaurants no matter where you are. This means you can get your Dashboard reports from your phone, tablet, or computer. You can check out the latest product updates on the Live Sales feature in this Community post
