Put Integrated services in the POS App

Put Integrated services in the POS App

Please add all the "integrated services" to the POS App:

- Subscriptions

- Gift Cards

- Donations

- other

 

I want my employees to be able to sell these items in person - not just online. I need them listed in the Item's list so that my POS machine shows them, and also my website offers them, inline with my other online items. 

(Also putting Gift Cards in the Navigation Bar of my online shop is just weird).

I want to get a better picture of what you're looking for with the integration with the Point of Sale app. 

 

Are you looking to get these features added to the main screen of the app? 

 

Giving your employees the ability to sell those items would be in the permissions you all them to have in your Point of Sale app. 

 

I will keep an eye out for your reply👀.

  Right now the things that are called "integrated services" are not constantly implement in the POS app. Below I will describe how they are each implemented differently from each other. It's been a steep learning curve to figure out each service since they are so different from each other. 

 

- Subscriptions: At the POS terminal (iPad on my counter) my staff have to go into "Settings" -> "Subscription" in order to sell a membership. I would like it to instead be an "item" that can be in my store, online, and on my POS dashboard instead of in this weird place. I don't like my staff going into Settings.

  Also, it sure would be nice if it showed up as a service in my library next to Gift Cards in the POS app.

 

- Gift Cards: I really like how Gift cards does show up in the POS app at the top of the library. What I want is to sell Gift Cards online in my square website store, but not in the navigation bar. My navigation bar is full. I want Gift Cards to be an item that I can list alongside all the other online items for sale in my store. That way I can show my customers a nice design picture.

 

- Donations: Online donations are a mess. I like the online service that shows the webpage with the pre-designated dollar amounts, I don't like the other online service that only shows donations as a blank item for people to fill out. I don't know why you have two different online services for donations. Within the online donation service, I wish you would implement the feature that shows a "fundraising goal" and how close we are to meeting that goal. To date, this feature shows up in the setup part, but does not actually work - it was not fully implemented. I sure would like Donations to show up in my POS terminal as a service like Gift Cards do. That would be so helpful.

 

- Appointments: This feature simply does not work for me. First off, I have two different services that I offer that require an appointment and putting them together on a single "booking" webpage is odd. Secondly, the calendar doesn't render correctly. I've complained about this before and your staff said it's not their problem because the calendar comes from Google, but a calendar that is white numbers on a white background is a non starter. This makes it 100% non-functional. Third, forcing bookings to be in the navigation bar doesn't work for me, like I said my navigation bar is full. I've created a workaround by having my customers go to a form first. Then when they submit the form, they get a thank you message telling them to go to the booking page and explaining that the calendar is white on white but will work if they click through. It's a terrible customer experience.
