Purchase Order - Print with Item Price

Purchase Order - Print with Item Price

When I print a purchase order I'd like the option to add the item price to the PDF/spreadsheet. You can toggle for SKU, GTIN, Item Cost etc, but there's no option for item price (i.e. what we're selling it for on our retail for). My team uses paper copies of the PO to receive and sticker inventory. We don't use Square's barcode function, so that's not helpful to us.

Agreed with the above request! I'd also like to be able to adjust the item price when creating/receiving a PO as well. Our vendor changes item prices frequently with no notice other than their packing slip.

Hi there @goodshealth & @acscoutshop ,

I appreciate you guys providing your insight. It is truly helpful.

At this moment our Product Team does not have this on the implementation roadmap. To other sellers that see this feature, please leave a like and reply with a use case that your business would have. This will help to signal that this feature request is even more important to address.

We will keep an eye on the thread and update the status accordingly. Thanks again for taking the time to give us some feedback.

I find the PO system not very helpful because it is lacking this very feature. If we need to look up each item separately anyway why bother putting the effort in creating the PO.

It would also be nice to be able to accept a larger quantity than ordered on the PO without having to leave receiving and edit the PO.

@AFKGames ;

I agree with these simple things that Square should offer.  My way around some of them is I use the Suggested PO from Square, and create my own using Excel.  When I enter the SKU or GTIN in my Spreadsheet all the other Quantities auto Fill except the current price I pay since that is ever changing these days.  I even created a column to calculate what I should sell the item for as a suggestion to myself.   Then I have another column for my actual selling price.  This is because I will get a suggested sell price of $3.96 or $3.97 and may just round to $3.99 for my actual selling price.  Then when I receive items I already can print out my barcodes at my selling price and have the correct quantity of price tags ready to mark the items coming in.  This is also a great way to make sure I receive what was ordered and was not shorted.
