Print customer name on receipt

This has been requested by Square users since at least 2017 yet it seems the feature has still not been rolled out.

It is imperative that customer names print on the receipt, not just the last four digits of the credit card number.

We manually enter card information from our donors and then shred the paperwork for privacy protection. There is no way to retrieve this data if human error misses the step of hand-writing the donor's name on the printed receipt.

If the name was already on the receipt, we also wouldn't have to print a copy.

OK, I noticed that sometimes names are printed under the signature line on the receipt. I'm not sure why it only happens sometimes? Does it only do it if the customer has used that card before on a Square POS? Or maybe only if the card is dipped/swiped not contactless? Very odd!

We'd like to add our request for this feature, but we're mostly interested in having the name print on our copy of the receipt, especially when a House Account is involved. We have businesses that purchase from us, and we like to have physical copies of the receipts when we justify things at the end of the month. It would make it much easier to figure out which receipt goes with what Account!
