Inventory Totals shown in Square

To whom it may concern,

i have been asked to purchase an inventory program from one of your associates on the phone, why can't there be totals showing inventory totals like we do with monthly sales reports in Square? it seems since I am inputting inventory daily anyway, it would be more efficient through my existing square system? or is this just about more income?

please advise, I need to update soon.

You can see inventory totals for items in your square dashboard under items.

I agree there should be an easy way to see inventory quantities and be able to sort the by low to high based on your reorder points.  The Square inventory reports show $$ amounts of inventory not Quantity.  Quantity is what we as business owners need to see if we need to purchase more of an item.  Yes I know I can scroll through 4000 items and see the quantities but why cant i just get a report that says based on your reorder points  these you should be watching as (Yellow) and these need to be ordered (red) and Green is not close to your reorder point.  When we look at inventory reports the items are in order by the item name not by a quantity.  Hope this makes sense.

Thank you for bringing this feature request to our attention. Also @Candlestore & @alexandriak for chiming in as well! 

I agree that the inventory reporting should be more detailed, and isn't as robust. You also have to spend some time going to different reports to sometimes get the information needed. 

You guys have brought up some really important points that our product team is still taking a look into. I've updated this request to the "Reviewed" status. This step in the Feature Request process will be a time in which other sellers can add their use cases to your idea to make it stronger and demonstrate further how much it is needed.

Later on, we'll re-visit the most popular feature requests in the "Reviewed" status and bring them to product teams.
