As it stands square appointments does not allow customers to tell us how many guests are coming, this can be a nightmare in a Restaurant as you don't know how many seats to reserve
If we have any updates regarding the ability to add guest counts in Square Appointments, I'll be sure to let you know.
Square Appointments is primarily designed for businesses in the beauty, grooming, and similar industries, so it may not have the features typically required for restaurant bookings.
If it's working well for you then that's great - however, if you need more flexibility for restaurant reservations, I recommend exploring one of our Square for Restaurants partners, like OpenTable, which offers more tailored booking options for restaurants.
