Feature request square for retail iPhone and terminal

Would be great to run square for retail from my iPhone and send the payment to my square terminal using it in effect as a customer display. 
I already have a square register set up but I originally purchased a square terminal to start of with. 
now the terminal basically sits in the draw gathering dust 🤔

I love the square for retail app but I can’t connect it to my terminal while using it on my iPhone. In the square for retail app you can use the camera on your phone to scan product barcodes and make the transaction quicker and more efficient.

yes you can use the terminal as a stand alone product for a sale but in order to scan barcodes for faster checkout I’d have to buy a square hub and an expensive scanner. 
Or the other option is to purchase a square reader to connect to square for retail app on my iPhone 😕

but the look of a square reader to send a payment to versus the look of the square terminal the two are completely different.

we often get busy times in our shop so having a second payment option to cut down the queue would be great. But standing there looking for every single product in the menus especially those that have barcodes is labour intensive to the point of not really helping to reduce the cues.

I know you can connect square terminal to iPhone while running square point of sale app to use the square terminal as a customer display but in the square point of sale app I’ve lost the ability to use my iPhone to scan barcodes. 

please can we suggest a feature of using square for retail app on an iPhone that will connect with square terminal to use as a customer display to process the sale 😁
