Feature Request: Use Square Appointments on the Square Terminal

I just ordered a square terminal and now I’m rethinking it after some reading... I want to check out my clients and be able to keep track of sales and clients payment history but now I see I can’t use square appointments on the square terminal. I see you can open a ticket to sync but how do i add my client to that ticket that is on my schedule to check out?

I moved your post to our Square Appointments Feature Request board. 

Right now, this isn't available for the Terminal. There isn't a timeline currently, for its implementation. Keep an eye out for an announcement for this feature update!

In the meantime, as a workaround, open tickets do sync between the Appointments app and Square Terminal. This means you could create a ticket from the Appointments app, open the same ticket on Square Terminal and tap Charge to complete the payment.

@Sunflowersalon, The answer is yes, when you check them out in terminal and you check them out in appointments it creates to entries And throws off your numbers for your business thus creating more work. Or your appointment book looks like you never checked your client out if you check them out on terminal. That’s why there are so many of us wanting this feature request.

@Kassi_ Are there any updates on this feature being rolled out to terminal? We just invested so much in Square just to find out the major feature "Square Appointments" is not available on the terminal. This causes so many problems with calculating commissions and Square payroll in the salon.

I don't have an update on this feature request for the Square Terminal. 

It's still unable to use any of our extensions like Appointments, Restaurants, or Retail. 

Keep an eye out for a Product Update once something like this would become available.

It would be a great addition, as I have requested before. The biggest issue with Square Appointments and Square Terminal is that you cannot sync or update a customer on Square Terminal. This could be a lifesaver if integrated into the software.

I would love this feature, as well. Just moved over to Square Appointments and disappointed that I didn’t consider the fact that I wouldn’t be able to use the terminal that I have been using.

Hi noticed that my Appointments app lets me charge clients based off of their services. Curious if this feature is transferrable to the terminal. Looks just like the checkout screen on the terminal, so I'm curious if there's a program my business can use to connect our terminal device to our appointment scheduling.

I talk mad **bleep** about leaving square...lets be honest..Im already too deep.  With that being said I need to start participating in feature request for what I want. 

Cam we make the Square Terminal work with Appointments? It currently can be synced with Virtual Terminal.   How hard would it be to make it work with Appointments.

What I REALLY want is the customer facing display of the square register to be a standalone item that can be used with Appointments. I want a customer facing display so bad.  I would pay a very healthy profit to square to buy that as stand alone hardware.  

Why not use the register you ask?  It doesnt meet my needs to run the 4 other softwares that my business uses, so I am trapped to PC.  I will not have a register and PC on the same desk. this looks trashy.
