I am trying to include Merge tags, so the customers first name can be displayed when using email marketing. Anyone know how this is possible? Cheers Marcus
Could you clarify if you're currently using Square Marketing to send your campaigns?
Currently, Square Marketing templates don't include a 'To (Customer Name)' field. Instead, they use preset templates triggered to send to your selected audience. Although you can create Customised Marketing Campaigns, this feature isn't supported in either the preset or custom template options at the moment.
If you're using an integration with another platform to send your campaigns, please specify the name of the platform in your reply, and I'll find out more for you.

Yes, I'm using square marketing. Not not using any other platforms. I would really like to be able to do this, so if you have any pull or if there is a suggestions to implement, I see this as a very important feature, as our customers and the personalisation is very important to us, Cheers Marcus
For now, I've updated the thread title and moved your post to the Square Marketing feature requests board. This allows other sellers to find and vote for this request for consideration by the Product Team.
While there are no current plans within Square to implement this feature, we do integrate with Mailchimp, which offers the ability to include merge tags for campaigns. It might be worth reaching out to see if this option is available to Square Sellers using the free plan.
