Hi!
So I don't have a square store setup yet - as matter of fact, this feature is the determining factor on whether I can use Square at all (as I've been leaning to Square over it's competitors) or whether I have to use another website/POS system entirely.
I'm suggesting that stores should be able to set a particular item to have a minimum order quantity
Along with the ability to have order amounts go up by set increments.
To give an idea:
It's common for stores selling items like Fabric, trim etc (Stores like Lincraft, Spotlight)to sell by the metre, where the minimum order amount is something like 20cm and you go up by 10cms as needed. So you can buy 20cm(or 0.2), 30cm, 40,cm, 130cm(1.3m), etc as these items need to be measured and cut to order
Reasoning: You can't sell it as units. When buying fabric you may only need to buy 1.2 metres(for example), so you can't use the options that go up by 1 incremental lots - as that would stick customers with having to pick either 1 or 2.
A Minimum quantity would also be needed, as someone ordering 10cm (example) would literally not be worth my time.
For businesses related to sewing, crafts etc these two features are a must. I hope Square can consider implementing them
Thanks
