Discount Codes to be used when booking an appointment online

I'd like to offer a special for clients for booking online, but there is no option for them to enter in a discount code when booking their appointment. This would be an essential asset to business marketing, promotions and bookings. It's important to have pre-paid booking options, but if i want to offer a discount, there doesn't seem to be any way to do this

Please pleasee! Add a feature where we can create promo codes to share on social media‘s that clients can use when they are BOOKING their appointment! For example if I share the promo code “May15” to my clients and followers saying they will get $15 off if they use the promo code when they book, they will click on my booking site click, choose their service, day, and time and then when they get to the point where it asks for their name and card information there should be a spot where they can enter the promo code so that it’s automatically applied when they book. and that way when we go to the register to check them out it’s already on their point of sale. Because otherwise when they go to check out after their service at the register sometimes they forget to mention the promo code or we forget to apply it. Thank you so much for considering this it would make a world of a difference!

They used to have this option back in the day. I don't recall when they removed it, but we want it back. This is an awesome tool to use for promotions.

Hello there @sugarbabybody and @JsonTheBarber This feature is currently planned for this year but doesn't have a release date yet. Please keep an eye out for updates here. And if you know any other Sellers interested in this feature please tag them or invite them here so they can share their vote and their use case.

This would be amazing for when we give client's discount such as 10% toward next service since we ran behind etc 

Right now we have to manually enter it in, but sometimes we lapse since the client books themselves and we don't realize we have it in the notes to give them a discount, we check them out and no discount was ever rendered. (Our client's are pretty non-confrontational so won't bring it up, but it means we don't keep our promise) So this could be a great tool for clients to add a code that we create for them when we give them the discount code for next service, and they can use it or not use it- totally up to them!

yes I completely agree 100% with what you just said! I always feel so bad when I realize I was supposed to give a client a referral discount and then I forgot to put it on there because I know they won’t say anything 😞 Thank you for also bringing this up. I received an email that they will be doing it this summer!

I also need this feature because my services happen virtually so people need to prepay. I want to be able to extend coupons to folks and it’s very frustrating that I can’t yet, especially seeing that this feature has been requested for over five years. Does anyone have a workaround in the meantime? 

Talking with a rep yesterday I learned that the services (which I use for my healthcare practice linked to my online appointments via desktop), does not have the option for coupons, gift cards, or payment options like Afterpay.

I was trying so hard to figure it out because I could see the coupon I generated for "items" and on the square app (for manually entered appointments).
