Need to be able to have a setting to specify the net amount we want to be paid and have Square add all of thes fees on top of that to charge the customers on their end.
After the Supreme Court ruling it’s was illegal for credit card companies to prevent businesses charging extra for their credit card processing expenses. So businesses should be able to do it the same like taxes, airplane tickets, hotels, car sales etc. We know how much we want to be paid according to our invoice. We don’t want to be in the hook for credit card processing expenses for someone’s convenience who doesn’t want to pay with interac, etransfer, cash or check. Add those expense on top of our net. Just like stores do it with taxes. Need to have square to calculate their total fees for the transaction, have a breakdown for customer and add it to our net amount. So the customer pays those “convenience” fees. Like with money transfer services, they always ask which side pays money transfer fees. The sender or the recipient. It’s time to have Square allow this setting to make businesses present their amount and make customers pay the fees.
