Change to Check

Right now you only see the Change to Check option when the edit window has passed. When you have 2 day payroll enabled instead of 4 day you don't see the Change to Check option until you get to the day before the pay day. We'd like to have it available as soon as you process payroll so you're able to convert the direct deposit to a check sooner.

Thanks for submitting great suggestions for you and our Sellers.

If you're using a two-day payroll option, for example, if you submit payroll every Wednesday and your employees are paid every Friday. If you need to convert a pay stub to a check, then you only have a short window of time to do that on Thursday with the Change to Check button, or you can call Square Payroll Support which is here Monday- Friday at 8 am - 8 pm CT to cancel a direct deposit.
