Bulk/Batch print option for packing slips PRIOR to purchasing shipping labels

It would be great to have a feature that lets you select multiple orders to print the Packing Slips for, prior to purchasing a shipping label. 

PROBLEM:

I work in retail and sometimes we get multiple (20+) online orders overnight. The order-fulfilling process currently on Square Online is NOT set up for efficient bulk order fulfillment. We are able to fulfill orders individually or bulk/batch orders by creating shipping labels FIRST, but this option is NOT time efficient when filling multiple orders.

We sell jewelry and each order requires different packaging based on what items are purchased (protective boxes & pouch bags in various sizes, bubble mailers, freebies, promo cards, etc). The packaging weight cannot be accounted for under each listing because each order can be packaged differently based on what items are in the order. So, we have to weigh each order WITH packaging to get an accurate shipping weight, and that also means gathering all the items in each order... one order at a time... and this wastes so much time.

FIX:

On the "Orders" screen, we need the option to select multiple orders and "Print Packing Slips" BEFORE purchasing shipping labels. This would be more time efficient in fulfilling multiple orders. We would be able to gather inventory for each order, organize and package the orders with the proper packaging, and THEN bulk purchase shipping labels and enter the correct weight of each shipment. 

I think this feature would really be beneficial to all product-based businesses.

OTHER NOTE: I would upload a photo showing exactly what I'm suggesting, but the camera button to "insert/add image" is not giving me normal "upload" options - it's doing something I've never seen before.

Every. Other. Online. Platform. Can. Bulk. Print. Packing. Slips.

Every one. 

This is a vital necessity for any business getting more that a handful of orders a week. We're just a small brand and do 100's of orders a week during Christmas, and we're nobody. Having to print packing slips individually is absolutely vital. In shopify, it's literally 4 clicks to print 100 packing slips AND shipping labels at the same time. 

Has anyone at Square actually worked in a retail ecom environment, ever? Big Commerce, Etsy, Shopify, Vend, Magento etc can all do this basic task.

The solution AmesatWired gave on 1/17/23 spells out exactly what needs to happen. Boom. Done.

I'm with EVERYONE in this thread.  EVERY OTHER PLATFORM allows this.  We just did a merch order for a large customer.  100's of individual orders and we're having to export to a freaking CSV file to get all the orders at one time.  Click a box, print all - how hard can this possibly be.

Came to ask the same question.  Why can we not get a bulk print packing slip option for ALL ORDER TYPES.  This is such a waste of time spent printing all of these one at a time.
