Auto Pay Daily Sales Tax

There should be an integrated system that takes our daily sales tax to be paid daily to the state automatically. Saves business owners from worrying about using tax funds to help stretch the business until taxes are due where the amount ends up in thousands and thousands of dollars as a large lump payment every quarter. It’s all software related. So it should not be hard to integrate Square POS systems to the California Treasurer via the CTDFA web portal for paying Use Tax.

There is a service called "DAVO" that integrates with Square. We worried about the same issue. DAVO is great. When we close the register at the end of the night, it automatically takes our sales tax out from our sales. Each quarter DAVO pays your sales taxes for you so you never have to worry about it again!

there are services that will handle separating your tax funds and paying your sales tax for you.

I have not used a service as I don't need to separate the funds but it could help you in your situation to make it easier for you.  It is just a matter of cost vs convenience.
