I'd like to start using appointments. Is there a way to set a time window appointment vs an exact time? We have a service business and we give customers a time window, i.e. 2-4pm, within which we arrive. I want to send reminders but I don't want it to say 2pm when it's between 2-4. Can I make reminder show the time window, or even no time at all, just the day? I don't want customers to book appointments online. Too complicated for our business, but I do want to send service appointment reminders.

Hello @AdvantageAppl! This is a great question.
So currently you can customize the content of the email reminders. On your Square Dashboard head to the Appointments Tab. From here you should see a sub-menu, from the sub-menu select Settings > Communications.
This will put you on the page to customize your email notifications! You will be looking for the Automatic Notifications Reminder. In your case I would utilize the variables to include appointment information. You can have the reminder automatically inform a customer the date of the appointment by inserting {{reservation.date_start}}. If you want to remind customers that it's an appointment window you could use the variables to create something similar to this:
{{client.first_name}}
This is a reminder that your appointment window for {reservation.date_start}} is between {{reservation.time_start}} and {{reservation.time_end}}.
For cancellations please call us at 000-000-0000
We look forward to seeing you soon!
The bracketed text will automatically update to include the clients information. Currently we cannot customize SMS notifications.
