overcharging

I have an i phone 8, used the jack to swipe cards, and for some reason it has overcharged 3 clients by very hefty amounts.. whats up, and how do i fix it??

let's start at the beginning.  how were they overcharged?  using the lightning to headphone adapter won't have any effect on the charges as that is only to read the card.  Overcharged like someone added one too many 0's?  if you are 100% sure they are overcharged you can do a partial refund to get to the correct amount https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/6116-process-refunds
