inventory report by vendor

Does anybody know how to create a report to show how many items are on hand by vendor?  I've heard you can't do it, but I've heard there is also a work around.

I'm trying to see items by vendor and how many are on hand.  This is to create a purchase order and pad my order if I'm a little short on minimum order amounts.

Hi @ajs420! You're correct- there isn't a designated way to track sales by vendor. But if you take a look at @ TBHospitalityNY's workaround, hopefully this will help you accomplish what you're looking to do when it comes to tracking vendor item sales.
