how to use Card on File

I'd like to use Card on File feature for wedding clients.  I take an upfront deposit but don't charge full amount until the event.  This will help protect for cancellations within the 7-day window where they are charged the full amount if they cancel.  But, I can still send invoice manually and let them pay manually, and not USE the Card on File.  I would only use the card on file if they fail to pay.  Will it still charge the Card on File rate? (hope this makes sense). Thank you!

Don't worry, that definitely made sense to me! The manual and Card on File will have the save processing fee whenever you use them. So you don't have to worry about being charged differently. Check out more about our fees, here.
