I have an older ipad, version 5.1.1., that I can't update anymore. As a result, I can't download the latest version of the square reader. Is it possible to get an older version of the app that would work w/ this software?

Unfortunately the older versions of the iPad isn't supported because it doesn't upgrade to the latest Apple iOS.
