credit card error

I sent an invoice to a customer, he tried to pay and it gave him an error saying his card was invalid, but it's not. Is there a way to fix it so he can pay his invoice?

So sorry for the trouble, here! One quick clarifying question - is you customer getting a red error outline within the card number field on the Invoice? - or are they getting an actual decline notification when submitting payment? 

 

If they are experiencing the latter, there are many factors that can contribute to a card being declined. Here is a helpful resource to help navigate the determining factors.
