Sorry to hear about the trouble, @Roberthallcmt. It sounds like you may need to download the app and I'd be happy to walk you through the steps to do so:

1. On your mobile device, go to the Apple App Store (iOS devices), or Google Play (Android devices) and search for "Square Register." You can also go to squareup.com/app on your device’s web browser to download the app.
2. Download and open Square Register.
3. Sign in to your existing account with your email address and password.

Is it necessary to ALLOW   access to everything it asks for when downloading's the app onto my phone for the app to operate correctly?  If not, please specify which accesses are absolutely necessary. TY

Hi @PhoenicianSoaps- good question. It is necessary to enable those permissions when you download our app. Take a look here for some further explanation as to why.
